It’s an excellent way to fully appreciate the majesty of this archipelago of South Pacific islands. A number of air services cater to sightseeing tours and offer resort transfers direct to outlying islands from Viti Levu.

Most scenic flights require a minimum of two passengers and range in cost from FJ $200/pp to FJ $1500+ depending on flight time and destination for air-only experiences. 

Some flight packages include ground experiences like meals, picnics or time to enjoy beach activities like swimming, snorkeling or fishing (check whether you bring the gear or supplied). Scenic flights are NOT exclusive to your passengers. Check with your operator to see total number of passengers or specify a private excursion when booking. Individual weight restrictions may also apply to specific aircraft or flights.

Travel Tips  

Some of the things to consider when taking air transfers or tours are important for your own enjoyment. These requirements may vary by operator so be sure to check when booking.

Baggage Allowances

 - Surfboards are usually allowed up to 200cms.
- 15kg per person usually allowed for helicopters.
- 20kg per person usually allowed for seaplanes.
-Extra baggage is sent on next available flight or boat. (charges may apply).

Child Fares

Infants under 2 years old are usually free of charge. Child fares usually apply up to 12 years old but not all air carriers have child fares.

Get Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is strongly encouraged for any disruption to travel services which may be out of control of the flight operators who, in most circumstances, will not be liable for loss of booking due to weather or unforeseeable events.
